Theft Claims by County - House Insurance
The highest average claims in 2015 on house insurance were in Wexford, Louth, Meath and Longford.
A survey carried out by AA Home Insurance showed some surprising results. Dublin was in ninth place (average claim €3,467), while Mayo was bottom with a surprisingly low €650. The overall average house insurance claim was €3,500.
The theft claims combines damage to the home and items stolen. The amount claimed by Policyholders County Wexford was € 6,624, County Louth €6,286, County Meath €5,348 and County Longford €4,663. the full list is as follows;
